When do your bullies SHED the most ??

We are trying to get a handle on Hershey's shedding, and trying to figure out what the normal routine is. Gizmo doesnt seem to shed as badly as Hershey does (but he is only 6 months)

So when do your bullies *blow their coats* ?

With Punks, it was when summer hit and it lasted for about a month. Stigs was mid spring. His wasn't as bad though.

Char sheds the most about an hour after a bath. We dry her off, and then suddenly the extreme shedding starts. We just take her outside, brush,brush,brush and then she doesn't seem to shed much at all for 2 weeks.

Herman sheds every time I touch him


The worst so far was the middle of August and that lasted a couple of days - just petting him ruffled up piles of hair. But he's only 6 months too. I brush him everyday but still hair everywhere.

I did'nt vote because the time that Dubbie sheds the most is after she has a bath... it looks like Christmas with all of the white hair everywhere. Hard to say month wise here in Florida at least that is with her.

Usually in the spring and fall for BeBe, Jewel and Blondie. Buddy and Lucy shed like crazy year round.

Ruggles sheds a huge amount in the spring and fall, and lesser amounts, but still sheds plenty year around. We brush and vacuum him regularly. We have observed over the years (30) and 6 Bulldogs that brindles shed more than fawn/red!

Well atleast Hershey lets us get near him with the Vacuum its a first for us, with ANY animal and the Vacuum

Banks does not shed too much, but mostly spring / summer.

Nitschke was brutal... all year , but fall was worst.

sarah seem to be the worst last couple of months but even then i cant say it was much. shes doesnt shed that much when she does shed.

I said Novermber to December but trully I am not sure yet as Ftse has not been here for a year yet he is beginning to shed a little now but November and December is really the start of our Summer so I guess he will shed a lot then.

I'm really lucky! Both of my dogs only shed on days that end in "Y"

Mine seem to shed the most in the spring ... as the weather starts to get warmer.

I've only had Jenna since May but she's a shedder, was hoping after getting her from the rescue good food, less stress she would slow down...not yet....so I brush everyday and vacuum daily. She's worth it.
