What to ask vet about our new puppy

Hi friends, So some of you may know all ready, but we ware bringing home a new bully baby! We will be picking him up in about a week!! We have to drive 6+ hours to go get him, so I was going to have a vet in the area check him I before we make the trip home. I found one here on EBN that was recommended. So my question is, what should we ask the vet to check out? I'm guessing that they will listen to his heart and breathing and the other basics. Is there other things we should have them check for to make sure he is in good health?
