Sable coat, the tips of the hair are black, but the colour along the rest of the hairs is grey, tan, gold or silver.

Fawn is more varying shades, between pale tan to pale fawn to dark deer-red

IMO yours is “dark deer red” Duke was much of a darker red as a pup and much lighter today. Their coats do change.

Just saw this photo below on this website. Miss my little Duke. I still have his beautiful stepping stone you guys gave me. I will now have the proper place for it. Right at the foot of my big veggie garden we‘ll be growing. Can’t wait!
