Fran has two different color 2nd eyelids (which is normal, one is pink one is brown) but her eye with the brown eyelid.. the actual white of the eye is brown on one side. Is this something I should be concerned with? Sorry if I didn't explain that well.. picture below. Ty!

I have seen (and had) dogs with this. It has never been a problem as far as I know.

It is an additional eyelid that dogs have. Bentley's are the same. Asked the vet. Of course I hope we are talking about the same thing.

They eyelids I understand. They explained they can differ in color same as her paws or nails do. It's the brown in the eye that worries me. Where her eye should be white it is brown on the side (not the eyelid) if you zoom in on the pictures you can see it.

Thank you! Just trying to keep myself as educated as possible. Knowing that they are prone to health issues ya know?

No, it is perfectly normal, you can also see it in people - look at the whites of the eyes of African American people who have really dark skin tone.

Thank you! I was leaning towards it having something to do with the pigment of the eyelid and not being a cause for harm.. but had to ask!
