Help Needed! Walter is limping...

Just got back from bootcamp, and noticed Wally is limping on his front leg I let him outside and he seems to be walking normally now… can I just keep an eye on it, and restrict his activity for a few days?!! Little stinker was jumping to get toys yesterday, and thinks he's so COOL cause he can jump on the couch…

I would do just that...monitor and restrict any jumping and rough play. Crate him if need be. Just what you need right now, right?!

You do need this on top of all else....don't worry though, check that he hasn't got anything lodged in his paw, and limit his excercise for awhile.

I agree with everyone's advice, I would continue to monitor him and try to restrict his activity, since he is walking okay now. He probably just strained his leg while jumping. I hope he is okay, please keep us posted. Sending love, hugs and prayers your way.

I, personally, would take him to the Vet for an evaluation. He may need an anti-inflammatory or steroid. When Maximus jumped on and off the sofa too much he ended up with an ACL injury, and he then really was limping very badly with the leg up off the ground.

Boeboe limps every now and then after she's played rough, I just try to keep her calm for a couple of days and she bounces back from it. I'm thinking in her case it's a muscle stretch or just stiffness... Glad Walter is back to normal Also hoping Roxie's medication will work wonders and that she can feel like her normal self again<3
