those little bastards are killing our lawn! they eat the darn roots and then you have a maze of dead grass --- we also have feral cats in the area so they must have scared them off as we have not seen much dead grass in the past few weeks --- that or the heat

Sorry to hear you are having issues as well. I really do not mind the grass but my veggies.....those bastards.

Ya bud us too and i am a lawn guy I LOVEEEEE my lawn and work hard on it , they tunnel around drives me nuts and Nelli can not get to them, the guy we bought this place from gave up on gardening due to them and the deer , not Me you know Me pretty good I will find away to kill the Bastards off that does not endanger others ans My dogs !! will let you know what I find that works Bud !!

Well I am somehow some way going to eradicate these things. I am going to have to get my Camo's out and get some fireworks/firecrackers and give new meaning to turning my soil. These aren't just any kind of Voles...these are Maryland Voles. I am just going to go Arnold on these little Ba$tard$. Incoming! Shock and Awe! Get down and get funky. Maybe some of those metal pungie sticks for this problem as well.

I will not use poison either even though the garden is fenced off.

My friend has thst. Killed all her lawn. Seems the come one yr disappears for 3. So it's a 3 yrs rotation. Im stuck with damm hares. And big "B" too!

At least you can eat rabbit , not sure the nutritional vale of a mole tho , even Nelli will not eat them she just kills them . Hmmmm rabbit stew yummy

Yes indeed and that is why I do not kill Black Snakes. I hear the Blue Jays creating racket and I'm sure there is a snake of some sort around. Heck my neighbor's yard is full of leaves and I told his wife that snakes like to hunt for mice under those leaves just so she would tell her husband to pick them up. Low and behold there was a Black Snake and she let out a yell and I have not seen her in the backyard since....That has been two years now. Gosh was that a loud yell..."kill it" she said and I said nope because they are good for eating the mice.

I drive that far with Killer you better have a hell of a lot of cigars and scotch screw the cukes , I will bring My laptop for that nite so we can post everything that goes on and I do Mean Everything !
