Ugh... I'm running a vet hospital!!!

Most of you already know about Wally's pulled hammy... NOW Willow is having issues. I was on the phone w/my mom, and I noticed that Willow was pushing ALL of the dining room chairs across the room. Her face was swollen... call the vet and luckily I had the meds on hand. Her face swelled up, and she started breaking out in hives ALL over her body. She must've gotten stung by something... but it's crazy. It was raining yesterday morning, and I had only let the pups go out on the covered deck. We couldn't find a stinger or a dead bee/wasp... nothing.

Anyhoo... Willow is fine, but I have to give the benadryl for at least 3 days just in case the swelling comes back w/a vengeance. This is the first time this has happened for her...

Wally is doing okay, he is starting to put weight on his back leg. Luckily it's raining this weekend, so he wouldn't be playing w/his ball anyway.

My NERVES however... Ugh!!! My grandson is here till the end of July, so he's keeping us all busy!!!

HOLY CROW!!! That is exactly what happened to Banks her first hive bout ... face was like a balloon— never found what it was but we suspected she ate a fly— she was allergic to them

Years ago, Gilda Radnor on SNL always said "Just goes ta' show ya', it's always sumpthin' " Truer words were never spoken,especially when you have (kids) and animals. I almost have seen it all! It keeps getting worse... Willow scratched her eye when her face was swollen, and now we are having to fight her to get eye ointment in. She is also fighting us on taking the benadryl pills... when I do finally get it down she throws up. She hasn't really eaten much the past two days. I'm not going to force down anymore benadryl, just trying to get the eye ointment in.

Walter is doing fine... we stopped giving him pain meds, he's just on anti-inflammatory's. At least it's been raining, so he knows he wouldn't get his ball anyway. Yesterday I noticed that he's chipped the tips off of TWO of his canines... I'm seriously considering NOT giving him that varsity ball anymore. I've been reading reviews that many dogs have the same issues that Walter has... it's an extremely addictive toy for some dogs, and it destroys their teeth because it's a very hard plastic.

Tracey... put the benedryl in vanilla ice cream. It is cold soft so she will just swallow

I honestly don't know... my vet mentioned that we have wasps here in TN that burrow in the ground, many dogs have been stung lately because they are leaving the nests.

She is doing much better, Thanks for asking... she was running around playing w/my grandson ALL day yesterday!!! Lol

OH NOT Ms. Thing... she threw up the PB and the pill!!! Thank goodness I'm not giving her meds anymore, she is doing fine...
