We had a beach clean up today with the Girl Scouts. Here is a picture of Tubs with the girls at the end of the clean up. He was soooooooo good. I kept him on a leash on the way down the beach and took it off of him on the way back and he stayed right by my side all the way back! I am not sure if this was a Mama's boy moment or him just being good, but I will take it! :)

Cute pic!! I bet Tubs got lots of lovins today from all the girls.

that's awesome, I was in GS's for 18 years. I retired from it two years ago. It's a great organization for girls.

Great pic! I can't believe how well he sits there in front of them. Mine would of been wanting to be petted all the time. :D

Tubs is a handsome boy, and I'm Sherry about him sitting still for the pic, mine would be al over the place, they can't sit still for a pic.

Thanks all for the great comments. I just got on here for the first time since I posted the picture...

JAKEISGREAT, Davidh, Sherry, I have to fill you in on my secret for getting him to stay! He can do sit and stay, but as I was walking back to take the picture, with his treat in my hand, he kept getting up to follow me. He seems to "leave it" really well, so I took his treat and put it on the ground in front of him and told him leave it. He keeps his eyes on me for me to tell him to "fetch it up." That is how I was able to get that picture! Secret is out!

Wow! No way would Jake let a treat or actually ANYTHING..edible or not...sit in front of him for 3 seconds!!:bravo: to both of you!!

speechmom53 I'm with JAKEISGREAT mine would never let a treat stay on the ground for 1 second. Kudos to you for having him trained so well.
