Ive been getting my 6 month old aquainted with the skateboard. Hoping it becomes a thing, because well, what else do i have to do on weeks when the kids are with their other parents and work? Obsess over my bully and might as well teach him some fun stuff! So, if anyone has tips for how to move to the next level, please let me know! When we move it to the cement, he walks it, but after a couple times he starts barking at it. I give lots of treats to distract from this but i keep sessions on the cement very short.

He hasn't even been through general obedience training yet, which may help him do what i ask him to do in this activity.

Hey, he's got the look down- that's step one! I think lots of repetition, treats and shorter sessions and he'll get it in time. Good luck!

Thanks guys!!!! By the way i went to petsmart and signed up for training and they offer a class that will teach him to skateboard after he gets basic obedience down :)

My trainer had my bully Winston on a skateboard… basically if you can get him to stay on it, then they rest of it comes naturally. Good luck!!!

Good luck and keep us posted on Walt's development! Castor was quite good on the skateboard but then we fell out of practice...this post reminded me that we need to take up training again!

good luck.... my girl only wanted to EAT the board :D
