Hi, this is my first post on this website. I am an owner of a (almost) 2 year old female white english bully
I love her to death, but wow she is HIGH maintenance... The only thing i'm concerned about is her tail. When i got her fixed, the vet said she has one of the worst inverted tails she has ever seen. She referred me to a surgeon and they want almost $2500 to remove it. ouch
It has never been infected bc i clean it every other day, but she does try to scratch every once in a while and that's my cue to wash it. I just dont know how she gets poo in it?? I thought maybe she has a fistula, (artifial opening from the colon to the tail) that secretes poo, but i don't think so. I'm just wondering if it would be better off to amputate, but i know its a serious surgery and could have major complications. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! thank you. I'll post a pic of noochie soon
