Surgery today

We drop Bug off at 7am today for her hernia, nare, palate and spay surgery. Super nervous but optimistic that she will be feeling much better soon. Keep us in your thoughts & prayers please. I will update as we know how things go. She is definitely scheduled to be there at least one night.

The surgeon called around 9:50am to say they would be beginning her surgery shortly and that he thought it would be quite routine. He said he will call when the surgery is complete (most likely around noon).

No, after a long conversation with the Internal medicine vet (who did her scope and discovered the hiatal hernia), we went with the specialty center (VSC of Seattle).

When Jax had surgery in July, it was at VSC in Lynnwood and I couldn't have been more happier with the vet and treatment he got.

Here she is in the car on the way to surgery. Traffic was completely stopped and she decided to get comfy on the floor and take a nap until I rudely woke her up to take a picture!
