Hi quick question. I am a new bulldog owner. I'm getting my female spayed next month. She will be 7 months. I have used my vet for years but I am nervous about anesthesia for the bulldogs. Do you guys go to a bulldog specialist? Or regular vet??

150% bulldog specialist. You need someone who knows the breed - as anesthesia and certain drugs (ACE) are very dangerous for bulldogs.

Ty. The breeder said I can use his vet. But it's about 1 hour and a half away. I will make an appointment

I would make the drive in a heartbeat, if you are 100% sure they are knowledgeable and experienced with putting Bulldogs under. Its so important they know the risks, and not use certain drugs like mentioned (ACE) and monitor them while they are coming out of anesthesia.

When dealing with surgery.... distance is not an issue -- bulldog vet for sure
