Hello! My name is Rudy, aka Rudicris, Rudabega, Rudy patootie, Rudy boo booā¦well you get the idea! The thing is, my foster mom thinks Iām so cute that she canāt help but call me all these silly names! But hey, who can complain about being irresistible? Iām a strapping 4.5 year old English bully boy. I sadly came to CEBR after my human mom was diagnosed with cancer. Between surgeries and treatments, the family had to focus on her health. I understand. I miss them but knew that I needed to find a home where the focus could be on me.
Iām not your typical bulldog. Iām much smarter..much much smarter! I can do some pretty cool things, like run sprints, jump into the back of really big SUVās in one big leap and play a rousing game of fetch, just like a lab (well note quite, but close!).
But I do have a softer side. I give gentle kisses and will lie quietly by your feet while you try to get work done at home. I just go with the flow. Walks are awesome, but you better move fast, ācause I donāt mess around. I gotta stay in shape you know. But watch out for the heat. I am still a bulldog and like to walk in the cool hours of the day. Car rides are pretty cool too. I enjoy meeting other dogs. I used to live with another dog and we got along great. I also get along swimmingly with my furry canine foster siblings. So far, so good.
My foster mom also thinks Iām a triple threat and that if there was a āSo You Think You Can Danceā for Bulldogs, I should audition. I do this move when Iām happy to see you and wiggle my butt, wag my tail and walk in circles at the same time. Yep. I can shake my booty better than KC & the Sunshine Band.
So hereās a little tidbit you may wanna know. I do not like vacuum cleaners or fireworks, but hey, everybodyās got somethinā, right? I will alert you when someone is in the yard by āwoofingā and I only bark when the doorbell rings. I am housetrained, enjoy taking naps in my crate with the door open and am proud to say that I am very low maintenance.
Iād be pretty happy in any home where I get love, walks, games of fetch, and plenty of attention
