Results from the second half of yesterday

Maddie had her cat scan yesterday (yes it was a totally crappy day) and it showed cysts in her ovaries. We followed up with gyn consult today and she has to go back next week for a sono, but he feels they are very small in size and won't present any problems. They did however find a bunch of kidney stones so unfortunately she has that to look forward to. Full disclosure has me at 4 pomegranate martinis between yesterday and today

I'm so sorry to hear that I found out last month that I've got a cyst on one of my ovaries too... I'm not doing very good so I'm glad to hear Maddie's won't cause problems, but still it's an inconvenience. Hugs<3

She has to have a repeat ultrasound next week to comfirm size and I think they will just let them pass. My husband has kidney stones and he passes most of them. He had to have one blasted.

OUCH! I hope they pass w/out pain. I think I read somewhere that olive oil helps to lube a stone before it's passed along…but that may have just been for humans, not animals. You've been through so much this week.
