Reg Vet or Holisitc

I am new here and thinking of many questions to ask.

I have a Rescue Bully (7yrs in Sept) had her to an Ophomologist to check her eyes.

Also to Vet to get checked for heartworm etc,

I am really thinking of getting away from conventional Vet and going holistic.

What are your thoughts?

We have done/do both at time, depends in what the issue is. We use laser therapy for Banks to help with her back issues but we also have to use meds to limit her pain

My kids go to a Holistic MD Pediatrician and I highly recommend it - even for the dogs. Unfortunately, there's no Holistic vet within a 3 hour radius from me.

We go to a holistic vet, and although they're a little more expensive, I like having other options than conventional meds. Be warned, though, that some vets say they're holistic, but in reality they aren't.

But i think trust is very important on the relationship. So if you have a great relationship with your non-holistic one, I'd stay with them.
