Help Needed! red eye

Hi,new pet bulldog,just arrived 4 years old,little bit nervous so don't want to go to vet and stress her out,her eye is a little red and was gunky,bathed with saline for 2days,gunk gone but still a bit red.

Hi there - could be allergies - try Benadryl (1mg per lb) -- also what are you feeding her?

When you say gunky.... was there a color to the gunk?

Yellowy green thats cleared up now.

Great that it cleared up! But whenever there is yellow/green -- it could be conjunctivitis (infection) so be sure to take to vet for needed drops.
