Help Needed! Recurrent eye infection.

My Suzie has had a recurring eye infection since October. She's been on antibiotics 3 times and each time it clears up and she improves immensely and then it comes back. Anyone else ever had this problem?

Have you thought about allergies. If Suzie itches, she'll use her dewclaws to scratch her face where she'll end up scratching her eyes.

agree --- could be allergies causing an itchy eye .... have you tried giving Benedryl to see if that helps give some relief?

My Joey sometimes get infection in her left eye cos she keeps flippin her tongue in it I have a normal cheapish eye cream I just put in twice a day for a couple of days and it clears up. Do you know what causes the infection?
