Raw fed dog hydration - Twilight style.

So, as we all experience, dogs barely drink anything after starting with raw diet. My dogs still enjoy their ice cube treats but it seems like they went for days without drinking. So I measured their water consumption and... All 3 dogs only drank a little less than ONE GALLON of water in an entire week!

So, I was chopping up some liver and there was tons of blood left on the bag and Bullie and Angus ended up fighting over the bag... So I poured some of the blood content of the bag - approx a cup's worth of it divided into all 3 bowls, added water, and gave it to the dogs. They lapped it all up. All gone.

My dogs now drink their water vampire style...

That is crazy but hey if it works, well start calling them little vamps! Funny I was watching that last night on cable too until I feel asleep.

You could try no sodium broth added maybe as an alternative?

Cool I would of used that blood for making a trail for them in the yard....
