radar peed on his new bed

I bought radar a new bed for at home when he doesn't want to sit in the chair with me. He is 11 weeks old and doing fantastic with housetraining. But he peed his bed after being inside for 10 minutes after his potty break. We have 2 male cats that most likely sniffed and walked on his bed today while he was visiting grandma and grandpa. Is he just marking showing the cats they can't be on it? What do I do?

Winston is 11 mos old now, and he peed on one of the dogs beds yesterday!!! I have NO idea why?!! Drives me insane… LOL

This seems to be a "Bullie" trait with some of them. Even my girls did this when they were pups. I think they may have an ancient "instinct" to mark it as THEIRS, as they would have to warn away others? As males(dogs..heh,heh) outside alot of times have to "mark" everything.

Brutus did this when he was little. We eventually gave up on dog beds. although at a few days shy of his first birthday he does not pee on them anymore, he now eats them.

Yep, he is marking him bed. Some never get out of that habit.
