Ok so sparkles will officially b 10 months in a few days and officially started her first heat a few days ago. I took her into vet yesterday and she is 42 pounds. My question is when did u stop feeding ur puppy "puppy" food and switch to "adult" food? I want her and spike to be on same food but don't know if she is still too young.... I didn't make the switch on spike until he was a year
Old.... Thanks in advance for ur input.
Attached is a
Pic of both of them a few weeks ago :D

Cute red diaper, they hate though's things, mine always try to rub them off. haha I see you are from Tyler TX, I'm from Fulshear Tx. Good to have more Texans on here. :D

Lol its actually Hot pink. Fulshear, Tx hmmmm don't think I've ever heard of that before. :]

We are west of Houston. Where it's hot and humid.

It's hot & sticky in Tyler too. Suks. Cant take bulldogs out for too long bc they get overheated ;[

I switched Vegas at 6 months to adult food. Does she try to get the diapers off? I am surprised Spike is not trying to rip them off her!

Yea she manages to take them
Off. They stay separated unless we r there. Spike surprisingly is not acting crazy as he did when she had her silent heat at 6 months.

I don't have any experience with switching over to adult food as i'm using an all stages food. I just wanted to chime in and say "we missed you and your bullies"!
thanks for the pics!

Chunk's little buddy Oliver was just switched from puppy to adult food because and he is 7 months. I believe the reasoning was that the puppy food had become too many calories for his growth. I'd say you are probably fine to switch!

Past few months I was putting a little bit of spikes food into her puppy foods she is used to it. Did the switch this morning and she is officially on same food as spike:] thanks for input. Will post more pics soon.

She looks so cute in the diaper. lol. Are you planning on spaying her? I am in the process of trying to figure out when I should spay Gypsy.

We put Daddy on the Fromm 4* range gradually after we got him. The Fromm 4* is an all-stages food and I am so impressed with Fromm that I just wanted Daddy on it as soon as possible.
