Polar Vortex hits w/a vengence… Brrr

Well TN has been hit… it's 29 degrees this morning, but it feels like 19 Luckily I was able to get the outside somewhat winterized, and both heating units tuned up before the storm. BUT my sprinkler man is running behind on winterizing the sprinkler system, so I'm praying that I don't have busted lines in the yard

Most of the time it is but it can and does get nasty. I have lived in both Charlotte and Havelock, NC and been through a few nasty winters in each.

He's right. Woke up to 37 degrees this morning and thought my ex-wife was in town. Jewel and Bentley were not ready. Jewel did her thing and shot right back to the door to go in. She looked at me and said, "Dad are you freakin' nuts?" Bentley did the same thing. Sorry guys.

Walter is familiar with your sprinklers. I bet he could winterize them for you and you can save some bucks.

I have to agree… lived in Aberdeen for several years, and it would get cold w/ice storms.
