Penny Post-Op Update!

I'm so impressed! She walked right into the room where I was like she owned the place. Barely a limp and already putting some weight on that leg. Vet was shocked to say the least at how well she looks and is so soon after surgery!

Definitely! She's moved into Lockjaws larger crate and I moved that into the living room. Putting some cool packs on it now while she's resting.

She's doing great! Actaully walking better after the surgery then she has in a while.
We are all currently just making it through hurricane Matthew. We are out of power - for maybe the next few days. But other than that we made it through unscathed. Others around us weren't so lucky. No water, working toilets, horrible flooding, roads washed away or blocked by trees. Just say a prayer that we all get back to normal as soon as possible!

Thank you! Power has been restored! So as for our household, we're back to normal. But the area around us- there's a lot of "clean up" to be done!

After her first "walk". Just to the end of the yard and back.
We went out for a potty break and she just started going - like WANTED to just walk a little. Not even a full 5 mins. I think she wore herself out! Lol
