I feel your pain.. Kevin has no problems getting ON, knowing full well he has a hard time getting off the couch. I end up having to build him some type of ramp... with a plate of frozen broccoli* as a 'reward' (bribe).
* he is too sophisticated to eat it off the floor, he'll only eat off a paper plate (yea.. I've created a monster)
Here is his "sorry, can't year you" being naughty on the couch face.

Oh don't get me started on his food. He now expects me to HAND FEED him his food. This old dog thinks his cancer will get him anything he wants. Unfortunately, he's right.
