Off to the vet -- swollen neck, vommitting, possible blockage [emoji22]

I'm so glad to hear that Ruckus is doing better... did they do a skin scrape on that hotspot? I'm just curious as to why his neck would swell so much...

This past summer Wally had a hotspot that went out of control fast, he was on antibiotics and I was spraying that vetericyn on it. We never did figure out what started the mess...

Glad it's not a blockage! I'm wondering if throwing that thing up strained his neck muscles hence the swelling? Poor baby! I hope he is on the mend fast.

Good to hear Ruckus is on the mend and hopefully the hotspots will clear up soon. Castor sends his best wishes!

Great news no blockage!!! I hope that his neck and hot spots heal quickly too! Joey and I sending big bully hugs!!!!

Definitely feeling better tonight! Appetite is back, desire to play is coming back (still sleeping a little more than normal today), and the hot spots haven't spread further.

I'm so thankful that my big baby is ok. He's caught a cold here and there but I've never had such a scare like this. I bought him some new toys (yeah I'm a sucker) to make him feel better.

I'm thankful for everyone here also -- reading your posts and knowing you guys were all rooting for him helped keep me sane (ok slightly sane).

Jackie, I am just reading this about your precious Ruckus, Thank God he is back to his Wonderful Self, My goodness you and Ruckus had a time with him being sick. I was so worried about this Baby. These Bullies can really scare us. Give Ruckus and Regina a big kiss and hug from me and Elmo.

Yes, I heard back! The radiologist said they didn't see any blockage and that there didn't appear to be any damage from sharp ends of the stick he swallowed. I was nervous that they missed something, but since he seems to be returning to normal I'm feeling better. [emoji1][emoji190][emoji5]

I'm SO glad to here he is returning back to normal... how is his neck doing?

UGHHH. He just threw up again. :fie:

After a few days of seemingly getting better, he threw up kibble all over one of his beds. He ate breakfast at around 11am (it was a lazy morning) and he just now at around 6:15 threw up kibble. They were whole kibbles, and it wasn't very liquidy at all. Guess I'll be calling the vet again.

At least his skin and neck swelling is getting better.....

Is any bulldog normal? :lmaogirl::lmaogirl::lmaogirl:

Sorry had to say it. Our bullies sure makes us panic, nervous, laugh, cry and just want to hug them silly.,:)

Spoken too soon.... he threw up again tonight. Back to the vet I suppose....

Oh no, I was happy to see improvement, keep us posted with the new vet visit. Maybe they should try an ultrasound? They pick up things an xray can't see.
