Nose deteriorating

Anyone else have this problem with there bullies nose? It looks really bad I don't know if it hurts him though he doesn't like it when I touch it but I don't think he likes his face being touched. I got some snout balm online and have been applying it but I think it might be making it worse. Am planning on taking him to vet.

Take a warm wash cloth and gentley rub the nose before applying the snout soother.... it will remove the dry skin and with the nose wet... it help absorb the soother. they may not like it but it will do the trick
