Noob's 1st post...Hello everyone!!

Thank you everybody for the warm welcome! I look forward to being very active on here.

Awe.... what a cutie! Welcome to Ebn! Oh and the only manly sport I can stand is ultimate fighting, so yay for you! hahaha

Thanks Jenn! MMA/BJJ is a great stress reliever for me after dealing with a full day of "corporate america" antics......I just imagine i'm sparring with my boss or co-workers LOL!

Welcome to EBN!! Arnold is 10 months old as well as I am laughing with you not at you!! We took Arnold to a female bulldogs house, and he got so worked up he actually threw up. That is right threw up!! It was funny yet embarassing. My 3 older boys have all been trained in Jiu Jitsu and Pankration and competed as children, not anymore. Nice to have you onboard!!

OMG! That IS funny!! That's awesome your kids trained as well. Like I told Cali~Jenn above it's a great stress reliever as well. I'm 37 and probably should be playing golf but...NAH!!! :)

Spike is STUNNINGLY Gorgeous. Welcome!

On the panting thing....if anxiety is a trouble for him, keep exposing him -- in short spurts, rewarding when he's calm -- to the stimuli that makes him anxious. Go to the vet and just sit there for a bit -- and leave, for example. Practice makes perfect.

Thank you so much for the tip I will definitely try that out. So far i've taken him to the dog park twice and he seemed to get along well with the other dogs but ended up playing with the humans more. Hahah Go figure. I really do need to expose him more but since he hasn't been neutered just yet (we're still deciding) and he showed a tendency to want to mount but I had to stop him the cesar millan way..."shhhht!" Hahaha

:welcome: Spike is a handsome fella!

Welcome to the wonderful world of being Bullied. And loving it

Lots of dogs here are like that. Mine included. Yesterday, we went to a plant sale at our local "Adopt a Stream" foundation and they loved on anyone who would look their direction.

As for the neuter, my vote there will always be -- if I can quote Nike --- Just Do It. If you're not a breeder, then the benefits to neutering far outweigh the negatives. Since you are also a Cesar Millan fan, I'm sure you've seen the episode called "Mr. President Goes Under the Knife" -- the English Bulldog puppy gets neutered. Great episode.

Thanks again Vic! I'll definitely have to check that episode out. I have no intentions to become a breeder per say but I think in the future I would like to have a companion for Spike and possibly have a litter of their own. So in years to come I'll always have a piece of Spike once he eventually moves on.

Also, you're right these dogs are just huge Love mongers...they want anyone who gives them affection hahaha.
