General Question Neutering or spaying your English bulldog?

Hello I was wondering when you guys neuter or spay your english Bulldogs or what age do you guys recommend doing it at?

I had my females spayed at one year. Some people have it done between 6/8 months.Neutering is usually done around 8 months.

If I would to redo this, female after her first heat and NOT remove everything. I would have her tubes tied/laser. And for a male same thing. Not remove everything just like the female.

Only with a female, I choose to have her done prior to first heat... and she was still a dominate beeeotch (that I LOVED and still to, more than words) an healthy outstide of the arthritis in her back

I have Walter neutered at 2 years, and honestly looking back I wish I had done it sooner. I'm going to wait for Willow… I may give her a year, or I will wait till 3 mos after her first heat.

Had Penny spayed at 6 months (I also had an intact male in the house)- she's still alpha! and Lockjaw neutered at 10 months- he's just as hyper now as he was before he was neutered. Lol

We neutered Canelo at 6 months. Our decision was based on the fact that one testicle didn't drop, the vet examined it and he said it wasn't going to drop which would raise his cancer risk greatly.
