[MENTION=2014]JeannieCO[/MENTION] it is a wonderful place to live with lots of community spirit and pride. The area attracts artists and lots of tourists in the summer. Unfortunately, with the downfall of logging, the mills have closed and there aren't many family wage jobs. The population is shifting to retired instead of hired. Ranching is still big here, cattle and hay! Medical services are state of the art; we have excellent Drs. Yes, it is a beautiful place to live!

Believe it or not, I was born in Burns Oregon....I know. NOwheresville, USA. You and I are probably the only people here who knows where Burns is.....
