Took Sarge in for check ups today, both are in good health but Sarge tested positive for Lyme dease he is onDoxycycline to help keeping it at bay. they are really expensive. Test you babies for it.

Dam ticks!! Poor Sarge... prayers for a quick recovery. Hope he is doing OK

Good for you to test him, praying w/treatment, Sarge is fine (should be).

GOD bless Sarge & y'all

Awe poor baby! I hope he gets better, soon. My partner's mother's dog just tested positive for it but they live in the woods. I also knew a nurse who got it, too! No fun at all.

oh my hope sarge is well soon. good thing you had him tested :2thumbs:

Hope he gets better soon, I'm still pulling tics off of Bacon from our vacation, they were everywhere including all over me.

Sarge is fine with medication will help with problems down the road, I had no idea cuz he acted normal. I always take my two babies in for a check up every couple months for peace of mind.

Tom is right, everyone in tick areas should get their dogs tested. Aside from genetic conditions, untreated Lyme disease is the #1 cause of kidney failure.
