It is hereditary. Sorry to hear it for you. Maybe shop around vets. You want a good one but maybe another town nearby costs less? It's inexpensive where I'm at but the cost of living is lower here in hell. Gonna move to Kauai in a few years. Shudder to think of the vet bills out there

Since having the eye tacked the tearing has stopped and the stain is fading. Went to the vet for a da2pp shot today and he says the eye looks good but wants to see it every ten days ( i don't get charged for visits unless they do something) and he thinks I'll have to have the permanent surgery around 6 or 7 months but that the closer to grown the better or i might have to have it done again.

I know she's very young but keep a watch for any signs of allergy!!! An allergy can cause swollen eyes which in turn can cause entropian.
