Loose Poops

Hi All,
Chloe has had loose stools yesterday and today and I am wondering if any of you can tell me how long you'd wait to take her to a vet with this? She is eating, drinking and acting normal... Thank you so much!

You can give Chloe Pepto bismol, for her loose stools.If you have a syringe, squirt it in her mouth.1 tsp.for 10 lbs. You could also try kaopectate 2 tsp per 10. I would try it for a couple of days. Hope this helps '

I generally give her boiled chicken and rice. It seems pretty common that she gets loose stools, depending on what she’s eating or should I say what daddy‘s giving her to eat from his plate.

Any blood or mucus in the poo? If yes, get a sample to the vet for testing. If not, add pure pumpkin to meals it helps form up

Hey! My dog had something similar a while back—loose stools but still acting totally fine otherwise. I just kept an eye on him for a couple of days, and it cleared up on its own. As long as Chloe’s still eating, drinking, and acting like herself, it’s probably nothing serious. But if it drags on longer or if she starts showing other signs, I’d definitely call the vet just to be safe. It’s always better to be cautious, especially with stomach stuff!
