Bio:
Lexi is a beautiful, sweet two-year old Old English Bulldog. Lexi is becoming less timid everyday and is still working hard on her manners. Soon she will start work with a trainer to help her learn to be around children, strangers and resources without becoming scared. She is also working on her separation anxiety. Lexi needs a strong pack leader and a home that will continue training with Lexi beyond the required basic training. She will not be considered for placement in a home with young children or that young children will visit. Lexi needs to be the alpha dog in a home, and does well with her foster buddy, a Wheaten Terrier puppy but is not sure about other dogs. She still has a lot of energy and will be 3 in Nov.. Her forever home will have many playful and busy years ahead with her. She needs daily walks, plenty of things for her super-strong jaws to chew on, and playtime to keep her busy and happy. She eats a grain-free, high quality, food and will need to stay on this diet. Her foster family adores her and looks forward to helping her overcome her fears.
