Leading a dog to Water

My Bulldog will not drink water. I called the vet, they said "If your dog is not sick, don't worry about it." I'm worried about it even though he is not sick. Any feedback would be nice. Thank you

I home cook for Nyala and always top it with real broth and she will not drink at all throughout the day. If she's playing with her pitbull cousins she will pant n all and yes will drink water non stop.m

What do you feed ?

Try adding water to his food, and hopefully he will still eat it. You can also try adding a little coconut water to the drinking water, maybe he will like the taste. Or other flavoring like beef or chicken broth, but get the low sodium kind.

By chance... do you feed raw?

I feed him real food, cooked meats and vegetables with some rice.

When you home cook or fed raw... it is normal for water intake to be lessened... keep it available and he will drink as needed
