Poor 'lil love probably got debri & dirt up in there, wriggling her bum in the
house & in the yard as the inflammation then itching, set in. Cami & I send
love & prayers that she heals asap!

Well we are back from the vet and all I can say is boy I was wrong. Harlea doesn't have a UTI at all. She had a low grade fever and skin testing showed that she has a lovely staph infection on her belly near her lady parts from her little romp in the mud the other day even though she immediately got a bath right afterwards. I guess either i missed a spot or didn't get her clean enough. So she is now on antibiotics for the next 2 weeks and has to have a bath twice a week until we go back for a follow up in 2 weeks.

I was floored when she told me that. It was funny as my vet was like ok give her a bath with Duoxo shampoo and I was like yep already got that stuff and she started laughing. i am just glad we know what it is and can start working towards making her feel better. I hate seeing her so itchy and her belly looks horrible today.

Wow, from ingrown hair yo uti to staph! Poor baby! I recently bought the duoxo pads. Guess I need to keep that shampoo on hand too. Hope Harlea feels better soon!
