The ongoing mystery of why some users are not getting their @ mentions in threads has finally been solved! 
Since Tapatalk does not use the same processing for threads and posts as the forum does on the pc, when you mention a user while using Tapatalk they will not get a notification for it.
I wanted to let all the Tapatalk users to know, because I know that I myself use this feature a lot and also use tapatalk a lot.
The mention does still work, so perhaps you can still @ mention people but tell them to get in touch with them because it still links up to the user's profile.
To clarify what I mean, you could say "Visit [MENTION=2]desertskybulldogs[/MENTION] , she has experience with this". Even though in this situation I would not get the mention, the person who is reading could click my name and post a visitors message or PM to me.
