Thank you guys! I am obsessive about their health too and I tell ya, I have been watching her like a hawk and if she lays down to long I freak, if she eats slow, I freak, you get the idea. I took her temp again last night (I have a special rectal thermometer that is marked DOGS!!!!! lol) and her temp is fine. A bit of a smell now that she had her bath but not anything that would make you not want to pet her or anything.

I think its just the smell of the heat. With Pyometra you can have an open and closed one. With the open they ooze and you would never forget the smell. Smells like something rotting. With Closed you dont get that. Just get swollen belly, lethargic, not eating not going to the bathroom.

I think since she is being her normal self..she is just in a stinky heat. Lola gets that way too. I washed her privates several times a day. either with soap and water or baby wipes.
