Herman
I read that a dog can learn about 160-175 words. So I was thinking about the words Herman knows now so that I don't use up all the word slots in his brain with unnecessary things. Here are the words he knows now:

dinner
muscle massage
booty scratch
towel time
cheeeeeeese
good boy treat
blueberry
outside?
poo poo
pee pee
breakfast (i'm not sure if he knows this one)
mommy
daddy
Fin Diesel! (that's my fish and when I yell Fin Diesel to my fish, he runs over because he's jealous)
high five
gimme five
sit
get in your bed

Here are words I wish he knew (I think he knows them but fakes "Huh? What ya mean?")

NO
STOP
Get Down!
Come!
Herman
Leave it!
Go to your room!
Clean up your toys (this is just wishful thinking)

That's all I can think of now. I seems he has capacity to learn many more.

Ball - specifically 'Where's your ball? Get your ball !' she'll look all over the house for her one green ball so is that 1 word or 6 or 7 ?
Nite-Nite (She runs right up and gets in the big bed)
Walk
Leash
ByeByes
Car Ride
GIZMO (her name)
Sit

and its too early to think of anymore.... where's my coffee ! :) :)

I'll answer in a bit , but just stopping in ot say this would be a great poll!

Stig knows, school, dinner, din-din, breakfast, brecky, cheese, treat, peepee (to go outside), and walk. For tricks he knows high-five, down, sit, paw, stay, crawl and kiss.

I don't know if Punkin understands anything but sit and paw. He usually follows Stiggy's excited energy when it's mealtime.

HRH knows and hates the word Outside! If she could tuck her tail between her legs, that word would have her doing it. Her whole demeanor changes if we say it in conversation. And if it's actually because we want to send her to that wicked place she does everything in her power to avoid it, including trying to shrink into the couch and becoming 42# of Dead Weight.

She also knows bye bye, nite nite, Wait, Sit (when mom insists), and No.
Ball and Toy are interchangeable and saying either she will head strait to her toy bin if the favorite of the day isn't in sight.

Banks, being the DIVA beeotch that she is, is very particular at what she lets us know that she understands..

All the basic commands... sit/stay/wait/off/down/no/leave it/come/eyes

Stuff she loves... ball/play/walk/treat/eat

Stuff she HATES... ride/car/bye-byes

Charlotte knows:

"Whos that!?" to look for a family member.
"Char" "Charchar" "Charlie-Beth, Charlie-girl, Charlie-bear" "Charmonster" "Charlotte"
"Ball"
"Lobby" (her amazing lobster that is still in good condition!
"Mommy"
"Treat"
"Shake"
"Sit"
"Down"
"Target"
..and I think that's all for now

Dublins knows:
Walk
sit
Go free ( she has to sit and then be told "go free" before she can eat
Froggy
Bunny
Harley aka Mr. Fur our 20 Maine Coon cat. If she wont' come for her food I just have to say Harley's name and she quickly changes her mind.
Dad
Nathan
Luke
Mom
Treat
Come ( only when she isn't "deaf" :-) )
Car
Boat
water
Pool
Swim
Leave it
No ( again only when she wants to understand)
Give
Give kisses ( only if she thinks you deserve them :-) )
Lets go potty
Home
Time for night night.
Go get your bone
Dublin, Dubbie, Dubbie dog
No bite!
Hurry, hurry ( and when people hear me say it they just laugh but she knows what it means)

No tricks other than to steal everyones heart:heart:

This is great LOL I dont even think adding up all these words equal up to 100.

I guess will try to teach Herman more words.

Hmmmm. Words Gunny knows. Many. Words Gunny will respond to when he feels it is below his status....zero. We see zero more often than not.

Come
Sit
Gunny
Toy
Daddy
Mommy
Denali (always comes running for that one - since not a chance in hell he is gonna miss whatever she might me getting)
Drop it
Dinner
Cheeeeeese
Car
Walk
Up
Bed
No (rarely respond, but will look and acknowledge that he knows he should but doesn't give a rats rear)

A handful more I can't think of.

Ok lets see Lily knows...

Sit/stay/paw/no/go for walk/mama/daddy/grandma/grandpa/the boys/yum,yums/eat/treat/bed/night,night/water/drink/drop it/toys/up/down/come/potty/pee,pee/no bite/go home/ Lily girl/pretty girl/car ride/outside/backyard/kisses/belly rub/Damon/Jay/Ryan/leash.

And she HATES the word VET LOL
