Hi Everyone! I'm New and Eager to Meet You All!

[Maruko]

Hello~ This is Jennifer from Dallas, My fiance and I got our new puppy last week. This is my first pet, I'm overly excited!!! Her name is Maruko (pronounce as mah roo ko). Wanted to name her meatball at first because of EB's cute n round chubby feature, but she is a lady! We want to find a more ladylike name : ) Then Maruko came to my mind. It's my favorite Japanese cartoon character when I was young, and Maruko means "ball shaped..", perfect! You can think of her as a small rice ball instead of meatball LOL. She is 12 weeks now.

I had tons of questions since I got her. All my online researches have led me to this very useful forum! We hope to exchange experiences here, I know I will have a lot questions to ask in the future....
