Help- "changing" rooms

Mind the mess ;-) im in the middle of deciding how to move around my dining table so i can fit a mantelpiece
I moved from long wall -to the side where the radiator is
We have small living room and sadly we got to have dining table
We have a wall hanging fireplace but i dream to have my mantle from bedroom moved downstairs ,and wall hanging one upstairs
What do you guys think

Thanks guys xx i was quite bored with this set up -and cant move sofas or media around so its only the table -this is the mantle i want to move down stairs - mind my yankee addiction ;-)))

It will go there ....again dog toys are everywhere ,and hanghing chair will go to the bedroom

I agree... I would move it over by the door!!! That mantle is beautiful :D

Thank you :-) for any input - i got so used to seeing the "dining" table in a old place ,when i moved it i wasn't 100% sure if it look right
Mantle was bought of ebay -and i glued some of the decoration on it - the heath and backing was diy ed from old bed ;-)

I think it looks good there, and that mantel is beautiful, it will look good down stairs. Your house is very nice, plus no mess that I saw. Dog toys are part of the house at our house. LOL

I undone the mantel and ....reminded myself why i done such a big hearth - my dads wife burned my carpet on my wedding day!!!! ;-( so untill i find a solution (buy new carpet or mantle i cant move the thing down ) carpet looks very bad ....husband woken up - and said that dining table is offending him -Thats Welsh for you! No taste!!
I cant wait till he go for his PTSD treatment for few days -i can order things and instal -and with his memory -he will not notice a difference
