Hello and meet Bella

Hi,

Just joined this group. Have viewed conversations here in preparation before bring my puppy home.
I live in India. Have a 5 yr old male Boxer (Rudy) and acquired a EB puppy few weeks ago.
The little one's name is Bella (short for Bellada-Unde). In my native language it means "ball of jaggery"
Bella is 3 months old and a handful.

Attached are some pics.

Will be posting from time to time seeking advice. I have experience with dogs (Boxer/Doberman/Mudhol hound/Lab/Mutts)
This is my first EB puppy, so still learning. She has reversed the saying "You can't teach an old dog new tricks"
Everyday is educating me more about this breed and I have to force myself to learn new things

Welcome Raghu! Bella is adorable and so is Rudy. I have had boxers and bulldogs together for the past 30 years! I love both breeds and they do very well together. I'm sure Rudy is very protective of Bella. The picture reminds me of the time we brought a 5 week bulldog puppy (Rosie) home. We had two boxers at the time and Rhett (our male boxer) immediately claimed Rosie as his own by walking around with her under him. He was wonderful with her! Enjoy your baby!

The older one is very protective of Bella. The other day a friend of mine saw Bella trying to chew up some wood and he tried to move her away from the furniture. Rudy walked over calmly, gave a warning growl and sat there. The whole time he did not take his eyes off my friend.

Bella is forever pushing boundaries with Rudy. The older one has given the younger a lot of puppy leeway and figured out a cool way to play with her. Usually, Rudy grips a toy and makes Bella try and get it from him.
