Glad i went to the vet

So my boy duke had be shedding bad and spots of missing hair....i thought it was fungal or allergy or anything from reading all these post....turns out to be Thyroid related....the frenchie who was in the room right before me had the same prob....glad i went to the vet! Also i notice they have Fromm rated as a 6 star food.....i'm thinkin of switching from TOTW to it...opinions?

Hi! Yes..thyroid is often an induction of skin problems. Even in cats! Glad you figured it out! Many here use Fomm with great success. If Duke int having food related problems, I would hesitate to switch..why rock the boat! but..if you are already going o change..Fromm is a great choice. I hope Duke gets to feeling well very quickly!

Thyroid is SO IMPORTANT! I had no idea how so until a friend of mine's Giant Schnauzer turned into a TOTAL JERK. This thing -- big as a pony -- and wow; he was moody, snippy, they called him "aggressive" (which he wasn't but it sure looked like that) and now, he's on his meds and a total teddy bear -- just like before.

aw im glad you got your baby to the vet. normally i would say if they are doing good dont switch but i have a problem with the people who make totw so yes fromm is a good choice and lots here have had success with it.

Welcome what a beautiful bully! My bulldogs eat wellness. I am very happy with it and so are they! Their coats are beautiful! Glad you went to the vet!

So it wasnt the thyroid....seasonal coat change...i'm like seriously....he's on fish oil bills and I've seen a difference in his coat, it's coming in darker and has more shine to it

thanks, i recently got him about 2 months ago and the previous owner knew nothing! Yes i'm happy it wasnt thyroid....i have him on the fish oil pills and i'm loving it. I really want to try him on Fromms

Glad you found out the culprit, trust the medication works wonders. Fromm is a good choice. I feed my Ace Whole Earth Farms and Fromm. From what I have heard Fromm has been in the business for many years and has never had one recall on their feed.
