General Question Giardia

Seamus is on rice and chicken diet right now but his meds haven't helped clear him up. I am picking up new meds tomorrow for him to start. Fingers crossed these will work. Is it normal for puppies on a rice and chicken diet to poop a lot less? Unfortunately when he does poop it is still very very runny. I thought the meds he was on would clear him up but I guess not. Ughhhh I am hoping this clears up soon!

Dont want to scare you but it can take a long time to clear it up. What are they prescribing?

He was on Metronidazole and Panacur-C. He finished them both but isn't better. My vet is going to start him on something else now. Something that tastes really bitter I guess so I have to put it in peanut butter or something. Ugh its super annoying
