I have read the articles on food and am looking to make a food change for my 3 bullies. Yes, 3...yes, I am insane. In your experience on the grain-free, how much per day of the dry do they eat? Is it a smaller amount (enough to make it economical?). I just want to try to calculate how long a bag would last. I would do anything for them, even if I have to cut back somewhere else. But, I am also not independently wealthy, so price is a consideration. They are all allergy and acne free, yeast is the only issue . Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well your not crazy for having 3, I have 1 Beagle, 5 adult bullies, and 2 13 week old pups. The adult females we feed 3/4 cup twice a day. Our male we will feed him a little over a cup twice a day, but he doesn't eat all of it sometimes. It just depends on how much your bullies weigh. Buddy is 57 lbs. and our females are between 52 and 56 lbs. Except Lucy who is 48 lbs. and we feed her a little less than the others.

I use Earthbourne Holistics Meadow Feast, grain free. I buy the 28 lb. bag and it cost $54.00 (with tax). I feed 1 cup a.m. 1 cup p.m. and I am thinking it last about 5 weeks. So It averages about $10.00 a week. I also give fresh fruits and veggies for Vegas's snacks/treats. I am pretty pleased with this food.

I feed Fromm and they offer a frequent buyers program (buy 12 get one free) and my local privately owned pet-store offers 10% back on purchases, so with these discounts I don't pay much more than I would for a lesser quality kibble
