First Night With Fiona

Let me start off by saying that sleeping with two bullies is interesting and after I rebudget for all of Fiona's health expenses, I will need to invest in a bigger bed.

As the night drew to a close, Herschel had finally decided that he was done with his new sister and grumbled every time she leaned on him. She of course loves leaning on him. When she would try to lay next to him, he would get up, turn around and make sure his butt was toward her face. Then every couple of minutes he would kick her. Finally she got off the bed and into one of the crates. I swear he smiled.

She did get back up with us and he was ok the rest of the night. The chorus of snores was glorious.

I am truely amazed at how how she is settling in, she seems as though just wants to be close and be loved, something she has been missing. Most likely when Herschel is used to her they will be the best of buddies.

I am really enjoying following this wonderful rescue story, I am off for a week shortly and wont have internet, it will be interesting to see how she and Herschel are in a week.

Aww I'm glad she's adjusting, and I'm sure Herscel will come around. They'll be best friends soon enough.
