Fiona is getting spayed today

She'll be so happy to see you when it's all over! When Buster was spayed I was calling to ask about him all day long! :w00t:

One thing I have learned. Just because they need to be dropped off early does not mean the surgery is done early. I would call. They can't get upset about a worried caring parent

Let us know when all is said and done! It is nerve wracking for sure!

Danielle if it makes you feel any better I took Chester today and dropped him off at 715am to get fixed and I just heard back from the vet at 3pm. I'm sure you will be hearing something soon!

Just picked up my girl. They said she did awesome and no breathing issues or anything. She took a long time for the anesthesia to wear off but that may have been partly because we had horrible violent storms last night and she got no sleep. Vet joked that she may have just not wanted to wake up since every time this happened before she would wake up to a bunch of pups.

Next thing is to have sutures out in 10 days and then start heartworm treatment. The vets both say they think she will do well with that too. So proud of my girl!
