So my Tilly has a droopy eye. It's new and is weeping a fair amount. I have an appointment with the vet, but if it's not emergent and maybe just a scratch or irritation, could someone tell me their thoughts? Its been going on a week now. I tried Genteal drops starting last Saturday.... in case its dry eye. But I want the right drops. $70 visit fees are a lot though.

Hard to tell by the photo but it could be a variety of things...allergies, scratch, infection, eyelashes, entropion...and so on. A vet visit is best when it comes to the eyes. If there is a scratch, there are certain eye meds you do NOT want to use or it can cause damage.

I agree with Citty -- never mess with the eyes, vet appointment is best. Please keep us posted

left upper eye lid entropion...just a guess from a non-Vet

Jake eye wasnt droopy but leaked a lot. Ended up being eyelashes poking his eye. He got them laser out n it never came back. But yes a vet check is the best. Keep us posted 👍
That's distichia. MINI had it and several lashes were "cryo-ablated". That fixed her right up. Distichia is not nearly as common as Entropion but it does happen. Either way, surgery to correct is easy for an eye specialist.
