Geno did it once outside and it turned out there was a rottweiler running loose in the neighborhood. I saw it later that evening in the exact place Geno had been barking at "nothing".

Not yet although he does bark at me anytime I lay on the couch in my woman cave like a mad man, but that could be because he still wants to play....My human twins do have a 6th sense though I wish they could talk to tell me!
