Does your bulldog remind you of a pig?

Mine reminds me of a pig! There are the snorts, the eating like a pig and, in my opinion, obvious similarities in their appearances. (I mean this in the best possible way, I think pigs are very cute )

When Abby was a very young pup, it was Halloween and when I answered the door, two little girls yelled out..."Is that a pig?" Poor Abby her ego has been low ever since.

Yes, i totally agree... sometime Lily reminds me of a pot bellied pig... the waddle, the snorting, the messy eating.
My in-laws call her their little baby hippo! her body does resemble a baby hippo.

Sometimes (behind his back mind you) we call Gator a SowCowaGator. We actually call Lucy that often too because she also has qualities of all three. Though Lucy does a really good fainting goat impression.

I've been told when we are walking in the neighborhood that she looks like a little pig but my husband gets mad if I mention it. Nobody call his "little girl" a piggy. Mostly people think she's preggers because she has a big belly.

@Laura M Aguirre ...Meilyr looks precious in that picture. When my bullies are laying around they do remind me of beached seals.

I have always thought that too! I showed pigs growing up and there are so many similarities! Maybe that's why I love bulldogs so much. Love all the pictures!

I love this thread! Yes, my Little Bertie has always reminded me of a pig....she snorts, eats, and roots just like a pig! I also love pigs!
