Diapers

Where does everyone get the diaper covers and diapers from? What size do most full grown bullies use? I know petsmart carries them but do they carry as big as I will need?

I use skin-kid diapers... Aubie is using them right now, in fact! She uses regular diapers and she has the washable dog diaper over it because it keeps her from taking the other off. We started off just using the dog diaper with the little doggie pads you can get at petsmart, but it wouldn't stay up since she doesn't have the normal, poking out doggy tail to hold it up (and the throw away doggy diapers didn't stay up either for that same reason). It would fall down and leave her lady business poking right out the hole... ! We had to put suspenders on her to keep them up, but with the skin-kid diaper and doggie diaper over it, she doesn't need them.

Has anyone seen this? Its called the peekeeper and it has a butt piece for females looks like it would work but I dont think they make them big enough I wrote them and asked. We will see what they say when they reply!

I bought diapers from Petco (their brand) they fit Molly really well and they stay on without suspenders and you can wash and reuse them.

I bought her a medium but it was pretty snug if I had to get more I would try a large but she is spayed now thank goodness!

I have never noticed a difference between the first heat compared to any of the others that followed, it's messy but a good diaper and liners make the whole thing manageable.

I have read that the first heat can be lighter than any other heat so I hope that is true! Also how old is Molly? Lola is showing signs of going into heat she looks a little swollen and is really restless more than normal the past 2 days and wants to go outside more than normal. I have never had to deal with a dog in heat ever!

With Chevy I used diapers with a harness, got mattress suspenders to clip from the diaper to the harness. Worked great. You can also use mitten clips.
