:welcome: I'm sure some people will respond soon with suggestions to help with your issues with Maggie.

A few things that would be helpful is to let us know what you are feeding her now. Food can have a lot to do with issues that bullies have in particular.
The mange is likely because her immune system is compromised from the kennel cough. Getting her on a good food or supplements that will help build the immune system can then help fight the mange I believe.

Let's see if we can get some help!

When my Stiggy had mange, it was due to his compromised immune system because of his food allergies. Once we found the right food for him, everything got better. What you're going to need to find out is the root cause of your bully's weakened system. Without getting control of whatever it is, then the mites will continue to overtake his body.

Food allergies is one of the most popular in this forum. Some have success doing food trials, and others have chosen to do allergy tests. Hopefully you'll find the answer sooner than later. I know how frustrating it can be trying to find the best way we can make our bully's as healthy as they can be.

every dog has mites, when the imune systems breaks down, the body can not fight off the mites and then the mites take over. building up the immune system will cobat the mites. oh, and stress can run down an imune system also and the mites can take over then also.
usually a dip is involved / lots of meds.

As others have said mite start to take over when the immune system is low, so you need to get him on a high quality food, and supplements. Most of the time the vet will give them some antibiotics and some medicated shampoo. In sever cases they will dip them, but if it is just localized usually the meds and shampoo will work. I would give him some plain yogurt every morning also to help build the immune system.

You have rec'd some great advice form the other members..... get Maggie on a great food and build her immune system up to help fight off the mites.

Good luck and please keep us posted on how she is doing
